Attendees had the pleasure of listening to two keynotes from Dr. Irene Guiamatsia, Head of Research at Investment Trends, and Kate Browne, Editor in Chief at Yahoo Finance Australia who each shared unique insight into Australia’s retail online investing industry post-pandemic.
The industry has seen a surge in the number of retail online investors who entered the market since 2020, with Australia and the U.S. leading the increase, where over a third of the market is comprised of new investors.
