Yao Yihui, Assistant General Manager of BOCHK's Personal Digital Financial Products Department, said, "The investment committee's survey results show that stock investment is still the most popular investment tool for retail investors, with over 70% of them conducting their own research and analysis when choosing stocks. As of the end of June this year, nearly 26% of BOCHK's stock investment and trading clients are between the ages of 18 and 35, and younger clients are more inclined to invest via mobile phones. In view of this, BOCHK launched the stock analysis tool named "PickAStock" which has been viewed more than 200,000 times. BOCHK will continue to follow the trend of digital wealth management, continuously optimize mobile banking services, and strive to provide customers with the best investment experience."
The "PickAStock" stock analysis tool is provided by BOCHK in cooperation with the financial mobile application provider ETNet Limited, and technically empowered by Trading Central Asia Limited. "PickAStock" has 3 main functions, including "Pattern Analysis", "Comprehensive Score" and "Technical Analysis of Individual Stocks", covering Hong Kong stocks, China A shares and US stocks. "Pattern Analysis" summarizes 28 common stock patterns in the market through statistics of historical stock price trends and changes in trading volume, allowing customers to filter stocks according to specified patterns. The tool also provides a "Comprehensive Score" to rate individual stocks based on objective fundamental factors like valuation levels, profit performance and dividends, etc.. "Technical Analysis of Individual Stocks" lists different technical analysis events that have occurred in each stock, providing customers with more comprehensive information for reference when investing in stocks.
